Blind Assessment: Sweet, caramelly aroma with a hint of nut-toned chocolate. Balanced though flat acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. In the cup almost cloyingly sweet: nut, caramel, a hint of raisiny fruit. Clean, rather rich finish when hot. Generally the cup deteriorated as it cooled, turning slightly sourish with a very faint off-note in the finish that suggested sulfur. Notes: An instant coffee evaluated as mixed in proportions of 2.5 grams to 150 ml or 5 ounces of hot water. Assuming a larger cup size and a more generous 3 grams per serving, this product costs approximately 32 cents per serving. Visit www.tasterschoice.com for more information. When hot relatively free of the various processing taints that haunt soluble coffees. |

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
