Coffee Review - Costa Rica Tres Rios by Johnson Brothers
90
Roast: Medium-Light Review Date: February 2011
Origin: Tres Rios growing region, Costa Rica Price: $11.95/12 ounces

Blind Assessment: Brightly tart, lighter-roasted cup. Orange, flowers and nut in the aroma. Light body with smooth mouthfeel and a citrusy, zesty acidity. In the cup the citrus softens toward apricot. Brisk, slightly astringent finish.

Notes: Tres Rios, on the outskirts of the Costa Rica capitol of San Jose, is one of the classic Costa Rica growing regions. Johnson Brothers Coffee Roasters is a distinguished small-batch roasting company. Visit www.johnsonbrotherscoffee.com or call 608-256-5282 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Citrusy excitement in this lighter roasted Costa Rica.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
