Blind Assessment: Distinct rose-like floral notes, nut-toned chocolate and molasses in aroma and cup. Balanced acidity, silky mouthfeel. The short finish is rich and deep, thinning slightly in the long.

Notes: This lot is made up entirely of the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. An integral part of New York's coffee renaissance, Brooklyn-based Cafe Grumpy opened its first cafe in 2005 and has since expanded to three locations, in addition to their own roasting facility.
