Coffee Review - Ethiopia Sidamo from Johnson Brothers Coffee Roasters
92
Roast: Medium Review Date: August 2010
Origin: Southern Ethiopia Price: $11.95/12 oz.

Blind Assessment: Light lemon- and floral-toned aroma with hints of aromatic wood and sweet tea. In the cup smooth acidity, syrupy mouthfeel and a broad range of fruit notes: stone fruit, berries, black currant, flowers. Flavors fade slowly in the almost sugary sweet finish.

Notes: Ethiopian coffees like this one processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp is removed before drying) express floral and citrus notes with particular intensity. Johnson Brothers Coffee Roasters is a distinguished small-batch roasting company. Visit www.johnsonbrotherscoffee.com or call 608-256-5282 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Complex fruit and floral sweetness in a classic Ethiopia.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
