Roast: Medium-Light Review Date: September 2009
Origin: Boquete growing region, western Panama Price: NA

Blind Assessment: Rich, deep aroma with pungent cedar-toned fruit notes: fig perhaps, or prune. In the cup quiet, balanced acidity, fullish body, continued mildly pungent, fig-like fruit notes that take on a dark chocolate character in the finish.

Notes: This coffee is from a farm called Baru Indian High in Panama's famous Boquete growing region. Our Coffee Barn is a small-batch wholesale and Internet retail roaster. Visit www.ourcoffeebarn.com or call 877-265-2652 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: An aromatically simple but pleasingly deep and pungent version of the Panama profile.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
