Roast: Medium-Dark Review Date: May 2006
Origin: Indonesia, India, Guatemala, Brazil, Ethiopia Price: $12.95/12oz

Blind Assessment: Intense aroma: brandy, chocolate, caramel. In the small cup medium in body but smooth in mouthfeel, crisply pungent yet caramelly sweet, with a tightly knit, understated complexity: brandy, caramel, cedar and flowers, hints of which persist in the roundly rich finish. Masters milk with a gentle, brandied chocolate authority.

Notes: Coffee Klatch is an award-winning small-batch roasting company in the Los Angeles area whose resident barista and trainer, Heather Perry, won the 2003 United States Barista Championship brewing Coffee Klatch's Klatch Espresso.
